I feed Levi 1/8 cup of Orijen Adult 2-3 times a day - usually at 6:30AM, 2PM (we will sometimes skip the afternoon meal), and 7:30PM. We free-fed until moving in with my brother and his dog, and he has lost a little weight since that switch, but the vet says he is still at a healthy weight. I'll occasionally mix a bit of wet into his dry kibble (we use Wellness Core).
