Okay, I'm sorry to break it to you, but many people think human babies are different than yorkies! I lived 50 some years without knowing about this breed, and when I first heard of play dates, I thought it sounded stupid! I thought dog clothes were stupid too. Joey gets together with my son's dog a Maltese, and my other son's dog, a Shih Tzu, but when he's playing with other yorkies is when he's having the time of his life. He loves going to his breeder's home for a visit, and they just seem to know how to play well together. It's like they all know how to play tag. I think playing with other dogs is good for them, and they just seem to do well with other yorkies, but I don't think most people are going to understand, not until they have one.
