I go back and forth with this issue. I had a Standard Poodle who passed away last year and was 15 year old but I got Teddi, my yorkie, when Cassie was 11 years old. They got along great. Teddi would sleep on top of Cassie. But now that it's just Teddi I don't know if I could get another one because it's so easy to take her everywhere with me. I wouldn't be able to travel with 2 of them and I like taking Teddi on trips with me. The other thing is that what if I got one and they didn't get along or didn't really interact then it would defeat the whole purpose. For now I will stay a 1 dog family!!
