Never tell a Yorkie 'No' when potty training. They are too smart and won't get that you mean 'No, not here'. They will think that 'No' means don't potty anywhere! So catch her pottying on the pad, and praise her and give a treat.... Ignore all accidents. Watch her so you can learn her signals too. That'll speed up the training some. Good LucK! |
That's exactly what we had to do was to move the pads....they loved in front of the sink, stove, and fridge. Slowly we started moving the pads (literally just an inch or two at a time)...and moved their beds to those places......then we slowly moved the beds away too.
Not that we still don't have some accidents that their "favorite" spots, but it is MUCH better!
