i'm contemplating getting a new pet gate for the kitchen. i'd like to have somewhere i can open the gate to let bunjee walk from the kitchen to the halloway to outside rather than to pick him up from the kitchen and setting him by the door for outside. i'd also like to be able to step over the gate as well when i enter and exit the kitchen.

i'm considering getting the "pet sitters gate" that you can find at target and petsmart, but the thing is, it's only 21" tall compared to the 24" gate i have now.

so i was wondering, those with adult yorkies, will they be able to jump and clear a 21" gate? am i pretty safe going with the pet sitters gate or should i look for something higher? bunjee is suppose to be about 6-8 lbs fully grown just for a perspective.
