I actually did spend some time on petfinder last night, and didn't come across anything that met what i was looking for, mostly because there aren't many in my area, but also there were many that are sickly, or with some sort of past disease or health problems and while i am aware that some come into health problems (i've had my share of them!) i'd rather start with a healthy dog than a dog with already existing problems that i would have to deal with. For some reason that sounds wrong on many levels, but i hope you understand what i mean.
