As long as someone is willing to listen I explain that a Yorkie is a Yorkie is a Yorkie. That there is only ONE size according to AKC standards and that is under 7 lbs. I go on to explain that if a "Breeder" uses that adjetive to describe Yorkies then they should RUN the other way. Most of the time people are interested and appreciative. I continue to explain that it is very important to educate yourself on Yorkies cause they aren't for everyone, that you have to be careful of lp and ls and that they can be quite a challenge to potty train.
I have found that taking time to be courteous and educate is far better than being snippy and snobby. On the other hand, just DON'T ask how much I paid for my guys 'cause it's none of your business
