Darcy takes Proin. She used to pee on herself in her sleep, and the vet said it was due to old age. He gave me a bottle of it and said he didn't know if it would work or not, and he recommended 3 pills per day. Well, we gave her 1/2 pill 2x per day with her Lasik (since we could fit both in one pill pocket) and it worked great. When she was on an antiobiotic as well, I reduced it to 1/4 of a proin so I could give all her meds in one pill pocket, and it is still working great, no accidents. I just say this because I would have been going through 2 bottles a month if I would have listened to the vet, and it is about $25 a bottle. So if your vet prescribes it, I would start with a small amount and increase until you see results, and then stick with that amount.
