Agreed, though. I get sick of the whole "teacup" obsession. Not only because there is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie, but also because the ignorant obsession with teeny-tiny dogs over the dog's health is just wrong.
Levi is right in the middle of the standard (5.5 pounds, almost 3 years old) and strangers are constantly asking if he is a teacup. I always respond with a simple, "There is no such thing as a teacup Yorkie." If they want to continue to insist that their brother's mother-in-law's cousin's aunt has a teacup, I will provide some basic info, but usually I just get a blank stare and move on.
