I know the feeling, its like banging your head against a brick wall.
I hate when I take Poppy out and people say "oh my gosh shes beautiful is she a teacup?".
For one Poppy is 6.5 months old and weighs over 5lbs so theres no way shes going to squeeze her ass inside a tea cup.
But the ignorance is just too much, all we can do is try and educate and move on.
