Tomorrow is Lilly's first birthday. She's my first dog in awhile. I had family dogs growing up, but we never did anything for them on their birthdays.... I had a german shepherd with my husband, who is now with my mother-in-law (we were stationed in Germany with the army and we flew him back to the states a few months ahead of us. My in-law's live out in the country with 3 or 4 acres. When we got back to the states and saw how much fun he was having with all that room to run, and knowing we were going to be moving into an apartment or a house in the city, we couldn't take him away from the country. Plus, they had just recently had to put down their other german shepherd and they were already attached to him. Needless to say, Baron resides with the in-law's.

Anyway, enough babbling. Long story short... I've never celebrated a birthday with a dog, so I'm completely empty when it cones to ideas.
I special ordered her a birthday cookie from the dog bakery in town and picked it up today. But that's all I have so far. Any suggestions for tomorrow would be great.
