Is it the rubber bands or am I doing it too tight? Also, how long do you keep one in at a time? I have been taking them out every night b/c I don't want it to irritate her. |
Lainee is a great supplier of bands. But may I also suggest getting some children's/babies scrunchies. They don't pull the hair out. And by the way you are doing exactly right by taking the top knot out daily. Your baby is also probably rubbing her topknot on anything available. A good grooming spray, the trick is to wait after you spray for 1 or even 2 minutes before trying to brush out knot. And as Mary has said start from the ends of the hair. I also use my fingers to spread the hair, and sometimes the end of a rattail comb.
Getting band scissors are a must if you use elastic bands.
