I am new, and very proud, mommy of a baby girl. She turns 5 months on Friday and after 4 weeks of intense (hehe
) effort, I finally can get her hair in a top knot. Since she still has the puppy hair which is thin I have been using little rubber bands made for kids. They seem to stay in well but after one day they create a knot of her hair that needs to be pulled out b/c it can't even be brushed. Any suggestions? Is it the rubber bands or am I doing it too tight? Also, how long do you keep one in at a time? I have been taking them out every night b/c I don't want it to irritate her.
