ME! Scoober is a Schnorkie (Yorkie/mini schnauzer hybrid) he is a rescue dog, abandoned outside a pound where local puppy mills often dump dogs in the night (at least they dump em at the pound right?). My Elvis (Parti Yorkie) is a re-homed with me dog...he is almost 11 pounds and grew too large for the kennel that got him to use in their breeding program...personally I think they knew he had seizures and sold him saying they were unaware, as he had seizures after being with me 4 months and they failed to provide the full copies of his vet records for the two years they had him...either or Elvie is a blessing! Rescue dogs take a lot of work, it was obvious Scoobers was scared of people and had been severely abused, he ran, hid, lost bowel control and whimpered at the sight of a dog brush...was freaked out by grass...and took a long time to warm up to people, not to mention how starved he was when I got him...however the extra work put into rescue dogs pays off in the love they give you! |
