Well how about treating the dogs, to a hiking adventure? There maybe organizations within your area, that organize and sponsor hikes and other dog friendly activities.
I personally like the stuffing free toys. For Xmas dessert for our furbutts I cook up some special liver treats shaped in a small Xmas tree shape.
