I was wondering if this was possible because Gatsby seems to have a very silky coat after a bath but the next day it has proofed up again I'm now wondering if i need a better conditioner.
Any one have any thoughts?
Conditioners can do something to enhance the hair, in truth, we can probably do more to ruin hair then improve it. If a dog is poorly nourished or has had really harsh shampoo used, the hair will definitely improve with good nutrition and better products. However, most of it is genetics, and some dogs, just have great hair. What type of conditioner are you using? Joey's hair never poofed up the next day, it was at it's poofest right after shampooing. This does sound like something a cotton coat would do.
