If she has a sturdy frame and you get an exam done and they determine that she can pass the pups, I'd let her. I wouldn't put a bitch through a c-section. It takes much longer for them to heal and recover and then if they breed again, chances are, you'll have to have another c-section. What fun is that? It just seems too painful for me.

Please be careful on vets like this. Unless it is an emergency, you risk your female. How many yorkies have died on the operating table from spay and neuters? I'd seriously reconsider this AND get a new vet. Seems that this vet only wants the money and not what is in the best interest of the dog.

But of course, you're going to do what you want to do anyway, but I wouldn't do it. JMO
