Could a non-conditioned coat lead to a cottony apperance. My mother has a woman who lives in her community that just rescued a Yorkie, the dog was poorly cared for so needs a lot of work. The woman told my mom she though her dog had a really dry silky coat instead of a cotton one(I'm not sure how this come up but somehow it did).
I was wondering if this was possible because Gatsby seems to have a very silky coat after a bath but the next day it has proofed up again I'm now wondering if i need a better conditioner.
Any one have any thoughts?
