Our Meadow has pancreatitis and our vet put her on the Science Diet W/D food. The RC your vet has Ozzie on is also good for the same condition.

We did have to stop all treats with her (we simply get a piece of her food out and say treat and she believes it).

We also ALWAYS keep boil-in-a-bag rice and chicken broth at all times since when she does have the occassional flare up, we switch her to that to settle her for a day or two, then ease back to the SDW/D.

It's tough and scary, but with proper nutrition like they have you on, it is VERY manageable (depending on the severity). Meadow has been diagnosed with it for 4 years now and you would never know it!
