Well we made it back safe and sound
I want to express a huge "thank-you" to Mary and Ken who installed and gave me a hose for the shower to wash my boy, I really appreciated it ! What a bundle of energy Mary is , Sonya and Lisette are very lucky to have this woman for a mentor. It was so nice to see her girl Delila (spelling?) win her 3rd also...Big Congrats !!
As some of you know, I missed my ring time on Saturday...not sure what happened exactly,poor time management I guess. I was so very embarrassed,and you all were so suppportive and nice about it, thanks so much
I made it for Sunday though,and what a thrill to be at a show with such a large number of nice dogs. This was my 10th dogshow ever to attend and boy what an eye opener , I was a little intimidated I have to admit to be in the ring with some of the greatest handlers and breeders in the US.
Sebastien was good considering my nerves, he was a bit distracted by the patterned carpet and kept pulling his head down to sniff the floor. I was first to enter the ring in my class also which was a bit unnerving
I met some great friends that I had only known on line through yorkie talk and facebook. Kristena Bravo was a huge help to me, she was in the room below Denis and I and was at my becon call LOL She's really something and what a nice boy her Havoc is.
Connie, you are a sweet heart ! and so is your hubby,doing all the videoing. Can't wait to see the clips and photos that you took ! Wish we had more time with you too
I met Donna too ! What a sweety, love your accent girl ! We might just make it to Texas next year for the Specialty, that would be cool !
The kids travelled well, it was their first time in the air and our flight was 5 hours.We were so proud of them. Yes, Connie....Beatrice is just a little Diva isn't she ? She really enjoyed getting over to watch BOB on Sunday afternoon for a while.
Mary, the new leash that I got with the braided neck peice works great.I took him out earlier today for a walk. He wasn't to happy about it,but it worked.
I ordered the DVD's for the Specialty, can't wait to get them and relive the weekend
