My vet wanted to do Lulu's when she was just about 4 months old. I told her I wanted to wait til 7-8 months. I wanted Lulu to get a little bigger & I wanted to have any retained baby teeth removed at the time of her spay, so waiting longer allowed her to lose some teeth on her own. She's 7 months old now & I will be scheduling her spay soon.
