Call alot of vets and get different opinions. I personally think that a c-section is MAJOR, and it is just downplayed in our society. The gas can be dangerous and once in a while they don't wake up from the gas. This is why some people with very tiny dogs opt not to fix their pet. Many people say a c-section is more painful and it takes longer for a dog to recover from than a normal birth.
Do you know what to look for in an emergency? I hope you have a good mentor and have delivered puppies before. Most of the times it happens at night, so make sure you have an emergency vet or office you can go to and have money saved up, the whole ordeal will cost minimum $600. There are even some unethical vets who recommend c-sections because of the money. So this is why I recommened to get multiple opinions reguarding her size and shape.
good luck!
