Ok, I also got a nine weeks old yorkie&his name is tootsie "toots". I don't have a pen for him but I made a little area cover with some boards. When I first got him, he would pee everywhere on my kitchen floor every time I let him out. I would out his head bear his pee and said no. I showed him who's the alpha male so he'll know who's the boss plus he'll know he can't pee on the floor except his pee pad. It been a whole week and he been "alright" because I watched him constantly when I let him out after work. I know his sign of poop and pee which is a good thing! If you let her out every where, just be prepare to clean because basically, you're inviting your carpet as the pee pad for them. It will stay smell on carpet unless you do some professional cleaning. Well, they're only 9 wks so you&me will gave to be patience and keep training them! One advice from me, show him who's the boss/alpha male because that will make her scared of you and actually listen to you. Good luck to you&me!
