I dyed her for Halloween with a spray on food coloring i bought at a Michaels. It stood out really well on her tan legs and head. Her head also has black and grey in it so that didn't cover as well but it still blended nicely. It washed out of her head completely that very night but her legs are taking a little longer. Of course it doesn't help that the past two times i've washed her i've used a new color enhancing shampoo that i was dying to try on her coat.
If i were to do an all over dye job i'd use Manic Panic and run it through the bathing system at work. To do sections only, like ears, tail, or leg pom poms, I would use gloves and a brush to paint it on the sections i wanted colored and wrap that section in foil to let it set in like we do when we get highlights.
