I carry pepper spray on my key chain- an old habit of working night shift in some not so great areas of town. Shoda- You would do great here in GA; we even have one county where it's illegal to NOT own a gun. I'm actually getting ready to start taking some lessons down at the shooting range. One of my neighbors got broken in to 4 nights ago while she was home alone with her kids. We are in the process of organizing some self-defense classes through our neighborhood watch program, too.
