My last yorkie Ferdie, got pancreatisis. I never gave him anything with fat in it. but a dog sitter, I had watching him while on vacation did. That is how he got it. Aviod anything with fat. If they get it once they are pron to it coming back again. Did he eat anything out of the trash or table? The first time he was so sick when we returned from vacation, I knew something was wrong. The second time, he was in the car with my husband and I , i went to the store to get dinner, I purchased 2 steaks, guess what he got into while driving home? he never made a noise. 4 days later he was acting fine He want to the vet for a check up, he did blood test, to recheck him and I tod the vet what had happened. he had it again. Bless his heart he lived to be 19 and a half years old. Just be very careful.Good luck.
