I have a 7 week old puppy that is the runt. He is 9.9 oz at 7 weeks. There are two other puppies from this litter that are a little more than a lb. This puppy seems to be normal other than he is very tiny. He is eating, playing, teething, barks. I recently found out that the father to the dam was only 2 1/2 pounds. The dam and sire to this puppy are both about 4 lbs. I took him to the vet at 2weeks old and they said he was just the runt and will catch up, so far that has not happened. I have an appointment next week with the vet but this is driving me crazy. I guess im worrying. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks for any help you could offer to me.
