Default I don't bake much, but...

I made these last year, and this one was really easy and the presentation was awesome! I made them large and put them in a celephane (sp) bag and tied with a holiday bow. They looked as pretty as they were tasty!

Start with Connie's sugar cookie recipe above. (Okay I admit - I started with slice and bake, but you could just as easily buy them already baked!)

TURTLE COOKIES
Sugar Cookies
1 Bag Chocolate morsels
1 Bag Kraft Caramels
1 Bag Pecan Halves

Toast the pecans. Melt the chocolate and the caramels separately. Spoon a dallop of the caramel then a dallop of the chocolate on top of the baked sugar cookie and immediately put pecan half in warm center. Let set until chocolate and caramel harden.
