Yes, IMHO - everyday for 5 days is excessive. Norm is what Mary told you - breed twice with a day in between. For the owner of the bitch - you have to know better of when her delievery date is - not a range of a week or more. Also when a stud is used this much his numbers go way down and useless to breed this much.
Now some people use AI and then it would not matter to the male, but not good to have such a long range of due date for the female.
