 UTI after Spaying??
Has Anyone else had their yorkie get a Urinary Tract Infection caused by spaying?
The day after her surgery Shadow was having trouble urinating and their were little spots of light olored blood. I called the vet and he said that it was most likely a UTI and that she was already on antibiotics and it should clear it up, but to call if there were any other symptoms. He wants me to call him on Monday anyway to see how she is doing.
Is this normal? I mean do many get a UTI after surgery?
She's not lethargic, but she is less active, normal after a surgery and having a collar get in the way. She's eating more, but no where near normal as yet, surgery was Friday.
