Yesterday afternoon we took Allie to the dog park. We have been there before, but since the weather is cooler there were a lot more dogs. I was very excited because the last few times there was only one other dog, or just the big ones on the other side of the fence. I "thought" I have done an ok job socializing her, I take her out whenever I can, let people pet her, she has played with a friends yorkie, daily walks, we have 2 boys and including my husband the house can get pretty loud and rowdy. She is 15 months and fixed. Well when we got to the park she was VERY excited, i could barely hold her until we got through the gate, there was a 1 year old female cocker, a 3 month old male shiz tu and a 2 year old ( not sure) shiz tu, she immediately rolled onto her back and let them sniff, then kinda cowered, as they continued to sniff, then she ran a little and yelped/barked at them, Like she was playing but nervous. I've never heard her make this sound. The little puppy started bouncing around her barking and she lunged at him and made this yelp/bark again . I picked her up, told her no, then waited a few seconds and put her down. This continued off and on for about 20 minutes, then we decided to leave. Now im anxious about taking her back, I know she needs to be around other dogs but is she playing or being aggressive? Hubby says im being silly and paranoid, no, not me
