I have always thought it had a lot to do with their personalities. Muffin's personality was like she never stopped all day long and was always on the go and happy go lucky! Her tail was always erect. Kacee is very laid back. She is so calm until something interests her. When she's prancing around, like when we're on walks it is up and the hair is just swinging. (I like to watch her from behind when she walks. She twists her little hiney!)
