Fanny Farmer Fudge

Bring to boil: 4 1/2 cups sugar, 1 tall can Carnation milk. Boil for 6 minutes; remove from heat and add: 3 cups chocolate chips, 1/2 lb. butter, 3 tsp. vanilla, 3 cups chopped walnuts. Beat until creamy and pour into buttered 9X13 pan. Can use as frosting for cake…omit nuts.

(I've started using part semi-choc chips and part milk choc chips and I think I like it that way.)
(If you make it and it seems runny when you pour it in the pan, do not worry...it takes time, but it will set!)
Connie, you've got some great recipes, I'm feeling hungry. The fudge looks so good!!
