This fudge recipe is sooooo easy and people who have tasted it, request it, and those that taste it for the first time want the recipe. I have gotten so many compliements on my fudge...try it...you and yours will love it!!! It is sooooo creamy and good!

Fanny Farmer Fudge

Bring to boil: 4 1/2 cups sugar, 1 tall can Carnation milk. Boil for 6 minutes; remove from heat and add: 3 cups chocolate chips, 1/2 lb. butter, 3 tsp. vanilla. Beat until creamy and add 3 cups chopped walnuts. Pour into buttered 9X13 pan. Can use as frosting for cake…omit nuts.

(I've started using part semi-choc chips and part milk choc chips and I think I like it that way.)
(If you make it and it seems runny when you pour it in the pan, do not worry...it takes time, but it will set!)
