From my research it looks as though the females from that breed are the most dominant - so I'm putting this out there to any experts who can offer any advice. We are going to meet the puppies next week so we don't have our heart set on any particular one.
Thoughts? Tips? Any advice is helpful!

Thanks!

Hi, my Westie William was a dominant boy, but since I've had Ella-Mae and Kiki (girls) he's become a sweetie really. They walk all over him! As you are already aware of the importance of having compatability, you are asking and thinking all the right questions, and yes I am sure the breeder of your new soon to be new furbaby will be able to advise you on your chosen breed's personality etc....I know my William really loves having his new sisters, and well maybe he thinks..."Gosh this is a mad house now", but he loves to play with them too... my personal opinion is...we all love company...and family give us security....hope all goes well
