I have that book. It is good. My Jessie was diagnosed with PRA when she was 12. She went totally blind but had no problem getting around the house since she had it memorized. She knew where her wee wee pads were and had a great life even after the blindness. She lived another 2 and1/2 years and no one ever knew she was blind if they met her for the first time. I know it is heartbreaking to you but dogs rely more on their sense of smell than eyesight. Best of luck to you and don't worry.
