I've been approved! and this little girl is on her way from Arkansas in a transport van. I am so nervous, it's happening so fast! I applied for different ones I thought would fit into our family. This little girl is 5-6 years old, and was a stray in a high kill shleter in Arkansas. The rescue got her on the day she was scheduled to be PTS. She's five pounds and her name is Tinkerbelle. She is on her way, and if I hadnt been approved and accepted her she would have been placed in a foster home up here. She's coming to NH, I live about an hour away in MA. She should be there tomorrow evening around 6pm. They said she is healthy, had a full check up before coming, teeth cleaned, she is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations. Her fur is in need of a little work, she probably has not eaten very well , before the shelter, I'm guessing. She's a real cutie, and looks like she could be RU's sister. I know it will take time for her to adjust and for my little ones to adjust to her. I don't know if I should take a carrier to pick her up or let her ride in my lap home. Maybe she'd feel safer in the carrier. It's funny because I just saw the post of rescue dogs, now I can add my story after I get her. I'll post pictures also! Wish me luck! I'm going to need all the prayers I can get!
