I don't have a pattern for pj's, however, I do make my yorkie Shian
"sweats" that she loves in the winter.
You just take a pair of old sweat pants and cut them off the length to fit
your baby, then kind of measure where the front legs are from the neck and
cut a hole big enough for the legs to go through (don't make them very big either) (on both sides) and then measure back on the body and cut holes for the back legs. There is absolutely no sewing tothis as the seam is already in the sweats and the bottom of the sweats is the neck.Make sure the head will go through and the neck isn't to tight. I will try and post a picture in a while. Shian has several in different colors, and of course you get two out of one pair of sweats, so if you have two babies they can both have a set. And you could "fancy" them up if you wanted. Mine stays in sweats when it's really cold. When she goes out, her coat just goes over the sweats.
For your tiny babies you might be able to use childrens sweat pants. Just make sure
the head goes in and the neck isn't to tight, that's the most important part!
Hope this helps!! |
