Just back from Paris' annual visit to the vet.
He ordered a total health plus and triglycerid blood test, because he is taking hycodan for the collapsing trachea.
He told me Paris has a definate heart murmur.
And also that Paris is nearly blind!!
I noticed this week he was hunting around for his treats, and looked in his eyes and they looked larger but this morning on the way into the vets, he actually walked into the door. So I had him check his eyes and yep he can't see worth a darn.
He said most dogs do fine in their own environment with little vision as long as you don't move things around. He said it was Progressive Retinal Atrophy. Paris is 10 1/2.
