We just switched back to Nature's Variety Prairie from Acana.
I think Acana is a really good food, but we are started experiencing a few problems with it.
- gassy
- loose stools & more frequent (went from 2 to 3-4 times a day)
- Camden was throwing up
- weight gain
- drinking lots of water
We did have Camden checked to make sure there wasn't anything medical going on first.
I don't know if it's that Acana was too much protein or some of the ingredients they use or a combo that didn't work well with their digestive systems.
So we had the most success and longest success with NV, so we are back to that and mixing in the Tripett.
The kibble is smaller with NV too, which makes it easier for the 2 small ones!
