If this helps, I had my 1 year old, barely 6 lb baby neutered over a year ago. I had all the pre-op stuff done that I learned about here on YT. He had a dental exam while under and was microchiped (he had no retained teeth). I think it is very normal to be a nervous wreck. They are our babies, our lovable balls of energetic fur, we don't want any harm to come to them.
