Default Benji the devil dog

I adopted a 1 year old stray Yorkie mix from ASPCA sight unseen. At first he just seemed a little high strung. He followed me everywhere and became crazed if I left and closed the door. He would run after the door and slam it shut after I started closing it. I soon found out he did not want anyone to open or close a door around him. My daughter-in-law went into the bathroom and started to close the door when Benji hung unto her pants and wouldn't let go. She tried to get him off her with her foot and he bit her in 5 places. He had done this to a friend of mine before that but didn't bite, just wrapped his paws around her leg and wouldn't let her leave. I have since had a trainer take him to board and train to help me. I can't have him biting people. He gave me the zap collar to use with every command I give him. This only works if you are aware of all his movements. My son came in and he ran over and started to bite him and put a hole in his pants until my son grabbed him by the scuff of his neck to get him off. The funny thing is that he is the best dog when he is not doing these things. His problem is he wants to control who is coming and going. If the bell rings he goes ballistic. When someone wants to leave it is the same thing. I make him sit in his place, but this is a battle. Don't know what to do to make him accept me as a pack leader. I don't want to give him up but he is making my life a living hell. Any suggestions would definitely be appreciated. Oh one more thing, he sometimes poop and pees even after he has just been let out.
