I dont know, but sometimes these vet's come up with weird suggestions  I hope this all turns out ok for you! And lets hope there's someone on here that will be able to give you advice on this.

A VERY good suggestion. I know that when a lady flew in from Cali to pick up a little girl, the girl was too young for a rabies vacc and they put that in there. I think that as long as you have your rabies cert with you, you should be okay. Check with the airlines, though.
