This thread has been very helpful, thanks everyone! I have another question though. I was also looking at insurance for my 4.5 month old and my nearly 2 year old and wasn't sure if I should just get the major/accidental coverage or if it is cost effective to get the whole works which covers their heart guard, yearly vet visits, portion of teeth cleaning, any meds, and for my little one a % of her spaying. What's the consensus on this? I was looking at VIP insurance and it will be around $40-50/month each. I just want to make sure I am getting what I need to protect my babies but still not over-insuring them. Thanks!
