I adopted Lily when she was 6 months old. She was a puppy mill rescue. A lot like your little one, she was afraid of everything. Shadows, loud noises, the leash, the sound of food hitting the bowl..she wouldn't make eye contact and would walk very low to the ground. I felt horrible for her. Its been 9 months and she has made huge strides. She is still skittish about some things. She needs lots of love and patience. Slowly introduce her to new things...going places, car rides, etc. It will take time but she'll come around. Good luck |
