Keep talking to her and reassuring her that you are going to make her safe and she has nothing to worry about. The last thing she needs is for someone to give up on her. Dogs understand small phrases so she will understand you in due time. I talk to my dogs all the time. My cockapoo talks back to me and tells me she loves me and alot of other catch phrases. I was so surprised the first time I heard it. My other two dogs were mad at me when I got my yorkie, but I reassure them they are just as important to me and give them each their individual time with me. So just hang in there she will come around you just have to talk to her and give her time to warm up. I will say prayers your little furbaby gets better. take care
