I'm having issues with my 2-yr-old Yorkie. She's a rescue from a breeder and has been with me since September.

When we go out for her walks, she is a perfect lady on her leash until she sees someone or somedog, and she flips out. She lunges to the end of her leash, barks and goes into attack mode.

I have to make her sit, which sometimes is impossible, and i have to hold her rear down in the sit position. When she gets to the point she will sit on her own, i made her stay until she stops. Not exactly the way I wanted her to learn to sit.

With the early dark evenings, this last week has been terrible and she's done this even with no one around and the other night she ripped the lead right out of my hand and took off after,,,, nothing.

We go for walks at least 2 times a day and they're only calm if we don't come across anyone.

Pulling my hair out over here !!
