If you can get a finger in his mouth you can try using dental wipes instead of a tooth brush and paste. these Davis' ones are great http://www.beauregards.net/ocart/pro....asp?prod=D185 there are a lot in there and they are large so what i do is cut each sheet into thirds and stuff the extra back in the container.

or, have you tried using gauze and toothpaste to brush his teeth?

getting his teeth brushed by teh groomer twice a month really isn't going to do anything. imagine if you brushed your teeth twice a month. LOL

also, remember, no matter how well you take care of their teeth, genetics also plays a big role.
