Our family just purchased a Yorktese. I researched the yorkie, maltese, and mixed breed options in our area and adjacent states for two months before purchasing. We live in MO, and the "going price" has been anywhere from $500-1500 for a Yorktese. Pure-bred yorkies run anywhere from $800-2000 (especially at Christmas-time). We have just had Ozzie for a week, but we are so pleased. This pic is one that the breeder sent to us @ 6 weeks old. We just took some pix of him this weekend...when I get a chance, I will post one. Definitely an adorable mix!! |
