She should definitely be getting enough food.

My 2 year old, 15lb Yorkie eats 1/2 cup per day of Acana or Orijen kibble. Along with a bit of wet food and treats per day.

Jackson poops 2-3x per day. I find when he's more active and does a ton of running, etc, he poops 3x a day. But it's usually twice per day. Very rarely does he only go once per day.
